Columbus Aesthetic & Plastic Surgery (CAPS) is recruiting a board-certified or board-eligible general dermatologist for its Gahanna practice. The position pairs immediate patient demand with the clinical autonomy to build a full-spectrum medical dermatology practice and incorporate cosmetic services according to the physician’s interests.
The incoming dermatologist will join an established multidisciplinary organization with internal referrals from plastic surgery, medical aesthetics, and wellness. Centralized marketing, technology, and administrative support provide a practical foundation for growth while allowing the physician to focus on clinical care.

Practice profile
Founded in 1997, CAPS serves patients across Upper Arlington, Gahanna, Bridge Park, and Polaris. The practice integrates medical dermatology and skin health with plastic surgery, nonsurgical aesthetics, laser services, and wellness.
Its physician-led model connects the dermatologist with an established plastic surgery team, another staff dermatologist, injectors, laser specialists, medical aestheticians, and wellness professionals. This structure supports coordinated care and a consistent source of cross-referrals.
Clinical scope
The dermatologist will diagnose and treat a broad range of skin conditions, provide preventive care, and guide patients toward durable skin health. The role can also include cosmetic rejuvenation based on the physician’s training and desired practice mix.
The ideal candidate brings strong clinical judgment, an attentive consultation style, and an interest in working across specialties when collaboration improves the patient’s care plan.
Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board certified or board eligible in dermatology
- Eligible for medical licensure in Ohio
- Commitment to patient-centered care and strong clinical outcomes
- Interest in a collaborative multispecialty practice
- Applications are welcome from experienced physicians and recent graduates
