Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner – Hand Surgery
New Britain, CT
Join our Hand Center team as an advanced practice provider, delivering specialized care for patients with upper-extremity, wrist, and hand conditions. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced APRN or PA who enjoys focused specialty practice, consistent daytime hours, and close collaboration with highly skilled surgical and clinical teams to provide exceptional patient care.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct patient consultations, evaluations, follow-ups, and postoperative visits.
- Perform and document histories, physical exams, and diagnostic interpretations.
- Provide patient counseling on diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Utilize evidence-based practices to guide clinical decisions.
- Prescribe medications and manage ongoing care.
- Collaborate with Hand Center surgical staff and multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications
- Licensed (or eligible) APRN or PA-C in the state of Connecticut.
- National certification (or eligibility).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in hand/wrist care.
- Bilingual skills a plus, but not required.
