- Associate Podiatrist
Description
We are seeking a motivated Associate Podiatrist to join a busy, well-established podiatry practice with a diverse and high-acuity patient population. The position offers exposure to all aspects of podiatry, including forefoot and rearfoot reconstruction, limb salvage, wound care, inpatient hospital consults, outpatient clinic care, and nursing home coverage.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive podiatric care across inpatient, outpatient, and long-term care settings
Manage complex diabetic foot pathology, ulcers, infections, and post-operative care
Participate in surgical cases ranging from routine procedures to advanced reconstruction and limb salvage
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including hospitalists, vascular surgery, infectious disease, and wound care services
You will collect ABFAS cases first year with seasoned ABFAS faculty

Qualifications:
DPM degree from an accredited program
Completion of an approved podiatric residency (mandatory)
ABFAS Board qualified or board certified
Strong work ethic, clinical judgment, and commitment to high-quality patient care

Requirements
Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited institution
Completion of an approved podiatric medicine and surgery residency (PM&S-24 or PM&S-36 preferred)
Board qualified or board certified (ABFAS), or actively pursuing certification
Eligibility for state podiatry licensure and hospital privileges
Competency in comprehensive podiatric care, including:
Diabetic foot care and limb salvage
Wound care and infection management
Forefoot and rearfoot pathology
Inpatient hospital consults and postoperative management
Ability to manage patients across multiple settings: inpatient, outpatient clinic, and nursing home/long-term care
Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
Excellent communication, documentation, and time-management skills
Professional, patient-centered approach with a strong work ethic
Willingness to participate in call coverage as needed
